Garba. Raas. Bollywood. Bhangra. Each year this event brings in over 300 people for a fantastic night filled with food, dancing, and fun. This event highlights four of the most popular dance styles throughout the night. Dance lessons are taught for each genre of dance for anybody who wants to learn some new Indian dance moves. We also serve a large variety of Indian appetizers throughout the night. This event is free for all UI students!

This is an elite competition challenging teams from across the nation to produce creative, unique medleys, blending Hindi songs from a wide array of exhilarating Bollywood music with English songs from classic to trending American pop.
Over the years, Nachte Raho has been a thriving cultural program at the University of Iowa. As a Bollywood fusion dance competition, the University of Iowa hosts 8 dance teams from around the country to compete against each other for prize money.
